About Us

Meet Bob

I'm Bob Washa, founder of Bucky Mountain Products. I've been hunting with a gun and compound bow for nearly 47 years, and I've been lucky to share a lot of those hunts with my family and friends. The best ones have been with my sons. In a few short years, I'll be out there with my grandkids too.

For years I hung my own tree stands the best way I knew how, usually alone in the woods and sometimes only inches from a bad day. Then, my boys started hanging stands. Watching them wrestle those stands into place, I saw what I must have looked like all those years. It wasn't just about doing it fast, it was about doing it safe.

So I spent the next several years working on a better way. The result is the Tree Pulley Bracket.

What it Does

The bracket sit snug against the tree and holds your stand at eye level, tight to the trunk. That leaves both of your hands free to strap it in. No fighting the weight, no bracing it with your knee or your shoulder. The bracket does the holding.

It also lifts ladder stands, and it works as a hoist for deer, bear, and other big game.
